Pashupatinath Temple is one of the sacred temple of Hindus situated at the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu valley. It is dedicated to the Lord Shiva and is listed in World Heritage Site.

The cremation area and the washing ritual/preparation area of the deceased is separated.Best to watch from across as tourist not allowed in the area.It can be overwhelming.Come prepared&be respectful

An open Hindu cremation place where people come to ritually say goodbye to their loved ones. Around 7PM there is a ceremony on the other side of the bridge where they host a concert to celebrate life.
