Some folks wait for Spring and Summer but I'd say, weather permitting, a very pleasant time is to be had visiting Weymouth in Winter. Plenty of Pubs (if that's your thing) and very many excellent local restaurants (yes, you steer clear of the national chains and enjoy a little local excellence!)
